Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best well-known for his part in the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. At the age of 18, he began to take an interest in acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. His television characters have earned him plenty of recognition. The actor is able to play characters from both the bad and good aspects of the legal system. He has the ability to attract the attention of his audience easily. He played the role of a serial killer in his debut television show as well as later portrayed of an NYPD detective. The small screen performances of his have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. One of his most striking face features is thought to have been the piercing blue eyes that have been instrumental in his portrayal of characters that have a rough, charismatic look. He was featured in 2006 when he was included in the People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
